Join us for exploration of contemplation in the ancient Christian tradition. The overnight retreat offers you a time and space set aside for reflection and spiritual exploration focusing on prayer.

Schedule

Friday Night:
5:00 to 6:00 pm: Arrive and put stuff in bunkhouse
6:00 to 7:30 pm: Dinner and Introduction to the weekend
7:30 to 9:00 pm: Lectio Divina around the campfire
9:00 pm on: hang out and then bedtime

Saturday:
8:00 to 9:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 to 11:30 : various exercises in contemplative prayer
12:00 to 1:00 pm: lunch
1:00 to 2:00 pm: debrief and discuss
2:00 to 2:30 pm: Eucharist

Things to Bring

• Sleeping Bag / Bedding and Pillow
• Camp Chair
• Meat to grill for yourself Friday night (side dishes provided)

Directions

Take US-285 S; turn right at Co Rd 120/Parmalee Gulch Rd, go 1.2 miles. Messiah Mtn will be on the right--watch for the sign.
